With our Bishops and Priests ...
What Can I DO?
Complacency exists because it’s been allowed to; perhaps even
cultivated by those entrusted with helping us gain our
leadership combats Complacency!
So what can ordinary good lay people do?
on the Bible for a short list for your consideration.
We in this Lay
Organization stand with
and support the Bishops of the Catholic
Church, in concert with the Papal
Authority, who are Champions of Life.
Confronting • Complacent • Catholicism
We live in an Immoral
Society…mired in the Culture of Death.
A few Good people are out-numbered.
Others do very little.
Most are silent, apathetic, or complacent.
Catholic principles (as expressed in the Catholic Catechism) are
ignored, if even known. We,
laity, are at fault. We
don’t know our faith well enough to express it by our actions in our
daily living. We elect the
wrong people for the wrong reasons, perpetuating the Culture of Death.
Fortunately, a few good
Catholic Bishops (our “Champions
of Life”) are unafraid to speak out and profess the Catholic
principles which stand in opposition to today’s evils.
These good Bishops, men of God, but men nonetheless, need our
support. We will recognize
them for their bravery, and encourage them to continue the “good fight”.
We will ask them to encourage their more silent peers.
We will pray that they encourage their diocesan clergy to become
“Champions of Life” with
them, leading their respective parishioners in restoring a Culture of
Life in our country. We will
ask that they become our Great Leaders in this cause.
Please join us, and our partner organizations, in
this Pro Life effort. It is
the prayer of 4CToday that a re-energized Catholic Church, Bishops,
Clergy and Lay people, will help restore our country to moral
righteousness and truly be a “Nation Under God.”
